Manitoba Habitat Conservancy

Manitoba Habitat Conservancy partners with landowners to conserve and enhance wildlife habitat and vulnerable ecosystems. Since 1986, we have conserved over 231,500 acres of natural landscapes in Manitoba.

Manitoba’s grasslands and wetlands are nature’s powerhouses. They store carbon, filter water, protect the soil and support biodiversity, while providing critical habitat for birds, fish and wildlife.

Through Conservation Agreements, we ensure these natural landscapes are conserved for future generations to enjoy, while supporting sustainable agriculture and resilient rural communities.

The mission of Manitoba Habitat Conservancy is to realize enduring conservation benefits through investment in and delivery of initiatives that achieve productive natural landscapes and community wellbeing.

With your support, we can conserve Manitoba’s natural landscapes; for wildlife, for cleaner water, for climate resilience, and for the strength of rural communities.
